? What an odd question. I might ask, ''how come we know about quarks but none of the bible stories r recorded in history?'' One, quite obviously, has nothing to do with the other.

That being said, *many* of the bible stories have been recorded in history - even if u exclude the bible as a historical record (and doing so is entirely illogical). Just one example:

There are, quite literally, at least dozens, if not hundreds, of similar examples of non-Jewish documents supporting the accounts of events mentioned in the bible. It is important to realize that, for centuries, the *only* account we had of these now historically-confirmed events was the bible!

History actually requires human documentation. I do not think that there is any dinosaur history. The *remains* of dinosaurs have been discovered by paleontologists - but that is not the same thing. I think u will find that there is no historical record of dinosaurs, though some claim such for certain engravings & other rare ''mentions'' r historical records of dinosaurs.


Opinion: look into an excellent magazine title ''Biblical Archaeology Review''. They r a *very* well respected archaeological magazine, & include articles that both support & contradict biblical accounts. In fact, they include anything archaeological related to the bible, regardless of how it reflects on the bible. There are, quite literally, hundreds if not thousands of pieces of archaeological evidence supporting the biblical account, most of which r incontestable.

Dinosaurs r prehistoric, so they r NOT recorded in history.

However, the Bible itself is a historical record, & many of its accounts r described elsewhere.

People who have claimed to know that people & places mentioned in the Bible never really existed, tend to be laughed at by archaeologists a few decades later.

Just because these know-it-alls do not know anything about what they're talking about, does not mean that what they're talking about did not exist.

According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth & sixth creative periods or ‘days.’ If the Hebrew expression translated “great sea monsters” [Hebrew, tan‧ni‧nim′] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth “day.” (Gen. 1:21) We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth “day”). At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah’s day. Dinosaurs were reptiles, & some kinds of dinosaurs bear strong resemblance structurally & otherwise to lizards (sauros is, in fact, the Greek word for “lizard”; saura in Leviticus 11:29, LXX). Not all types of dinosaurs were of such gigantic size. Hence, even if they had survived till the Flood, this would not have required taking pairs of the mammoth varieties into the ark. Other smaller members of the particular family or “kind” to which these belonged would have sufficed to fulfill the divine command.—Gen. 6:19, 20; 7:14.

Well because the bible seems to be only interested in morals/spiritual teachings rather than science.

There has been archaeologist , historians ,scholars, & scientists who have uncovered findings to back up several facts from the Bible

They provide a glimpse of the amazing accuracy of the transmission of the text of the Old Testament through the millenia.
As the great text scholar Sir Frederic Kenyon noted after examining both the Old & New Testament texts (and it holds true even more so today), ''The Christian can take the whole Bible in his hand & say without fear or hesitation that he holds in it the true word of God, handed down without essential loss from generation to generation throughout the centuries'' (Our Bible & Ancient Manuscripts, 1939, p. 23).

Personally, I think it has to do with pre-Adamic.

History and the bible are both written by man, and a good source of information of the past events.

What differs one from the other is that, a History was based on true events and recorded by people who one way or the other have witnessed it.

Whilst the Bible on the other hand was based on events passed on through generations by the word-of-mouth, until the time that they decided to put it in writing. Put it simply, bible = Telltales.

Ha ha, many of the Bibles stories have been verified by independant archeology & science.
There were Jews working on the pyramids (proven!), all the details about King Solomon is & David is Temples have been verified down to their structure & time of building, & yes there WAS a huge flood covering what would have been most ofl known civilization several thousand years ago, when the Black & Caspian seas flooded cataclysmically with water from the Adriatic Sea - so big a flood that the entire water line of the entire WORLD dropped 4 feet!

Look up the Roman conquer of Jerusalem. Inscriptions still exist today in Rome of the victory. And it is recorded exactly the same in the Bible.
This is only one example. There are many more.

i am not sure that dinosaurs even exist. honestly i wonder if maybe god placed the bones here to fool us. plus they died like 65 billion years ago and jesus came 2008 years ago. thats a bit of a time gap.

Technically dinosaurs were not recorded in history. Evidence of them has been recorded in history, but evidence of some events and places in the bible have not been found.

However, Harry Potter is set in a school in England. We have evidence that schools exist in England, but that is not to say that the STORY of Harry Potter is real.

How are dinosaurs recorded in history? Do you mean fossils? If so then many Bible events and characters can be verified by archeology and ancient texts. Jewish kings, pagan kings and of course Jesus.

The bible was not meant to be a history of the world or any other book you'd like it to be.
It is God is words given through men about encounters with God and an account of Jesus. It is also another way to learn how to achieve salvation through Jesus. God bless :-)

What are you talking about? Archeology has found the major cities. The Temple is more than documented. There are historical records. They have found the tombs of Caiaphas and Herod. There are Roman records of John the Baptist. etc etc ..

You might want to study history some more. You will find things like the Babylonian captivity recorded in sources outside the Bible.
